La Chaine is the world's largest and oldest gastronomic association. Its goal is to promote fine dining, foster cameraderie and preserve the pleasures of the table. The Chaine is present in over 100 countries around the globe.

In China, the association has been in existence for 12 years and Beijing has been its center of activities. Western fine dining and the exploration of the world's oldest culinary traditions - the Chinese cuisine- have been our focus.

From its beginnings in one city and a relatively small number of members, they are now expanding rapidly into all corners of China and import vehicles: New bailliages have been established in Shanghai and Dalian. Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Nanjing, Xian and Shenyang will soon follow. The dining events created in each city will allow members and guests to savour the different region's distinctive flavour and cuisine.

These activities will now be enhanced with the launch of L'Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Degustateurs, L'Academie Brillat Savarin and culinary competitions such as the "Jeune Commis Rotisseurs". Other events are also being planned to support culinary and other institutions within the frame of the Chaine des Rotisseurs in China.
